Toronto is a city of 2.5 million people, many of whom like to go to casinos to try their luck in the game. However, if they do so, they can not do in their own city. They have to lead a one hour drive from Fallsview Casino in Niagara Falls and Casino Rama in Orillia. Either way, residents of Toronto can not make their game in their own backyards. 2009 is a year of municipal elections in Toronto. That means the city will have a new mayor. A mayoral candidate is George Mammoliti. Mr. Mammoliti will run on a platform based on the creative arrangements for the finances of the city. The city is facing a budget deficit $ 400 billion by 2010 and that simply can not happen. George Mammoliti is watching as other sources of revenue and a casino would bring in massive amounts of revenue. Is sure to be one of his ideas from the mayoral election.
Many people would love to have a casino in Toronto, not only for gaming purposes, but also for entertainment purposes because that kind of place would draw performers and actors to perform feats, could dramatically improve the nightlife in Toronto. Not only that, city residents should not have to travel 1.5 hours to get their settlement outside the city. If you would love to see a casino built in the city of Toronto, you just might get his wish in the near future.
